AI Infrastructure Index/Live
A curated, stack-ordered index of the infrastructure behind production AI systems: 112 tools across 9 layers, a page per tool, head-to-head comparisons, and 11 essays on the architectural decisions behind them.
Ordered by where a tool sits in a real system rather than by popularity: serving, routing, retrieval, fine-tuning, agents, orchestration, guardrails, prompts, evals. The facts about a tool (deployment, licence, cost) live apart from its link, and the build throws if either exists without the other, so a wrong licence can be corrected without touching prose.
Reference content rots. Licence, cost, and deployment claims are the fastest-decaying facts in any tool index, and a confident stale one is worse than no entry.
The hard part is not rendering 152 prerendered pages, it is making wrong facts impossible to ship. Coverage is asserted in both directions, stale licence data fails the build, and comparisons resolve tools by name against the dataset so a page cannot drift from the index.
Tell me what you're building, the constraints you're working with, and where it breaks. I reply within a day.
